- Conducted research about how paper airplanes work
- Explored digital resources to learn more about paper airplanes
- Used online tools to develop a digital design for a paper airplane
- Constructed paper airplanes
- Measured elements of their plane (surface area, area, perimeter, etc.)
- Competed in a flight contest (longest flight time and distance)
- Collected and analyzed flight data using digital graphing tools
- Developed a multimedia project to share their learning
The students did an amazing job taking their airplanes from concept to reality! The flight contest yielded winners in each classroom as well as overall grade level winners. It's amazing to see how students used technology to become paper airplane experts and to build incredibly intricate paper planes!
